It costs 50p if you are calling from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and some other networks may cost more. The cost for the call will be debited to the phone you are making the call from.
You can send FaceStore messages to any mobile that can receive and play videos in 3GP format. If you send your message to a mobile that can't play video, it is up to the recipient's service provider how the message is handled. In some cases, it will be possible to view the message online. You can also download and save the FaceStore message to your computer, and then either transfer it to a video capable mobile (using Bluetooth or Infrared) or send it as an e-mail attachment.
The cost for sending the message to one mobile is included in the cost for using the service. However, you can download the video to your computer and then forward it via e-mail. Alternatively, you can record a new message and send it from the web site to another mobile number.
3GP is a standard video format used by mobiles. You can also play 3GP videos on a computer, using QuickTime 6 or another 3GP video player.
It is currently not possible to make your own Faces for the web based service.
This is most probably caused either by a network problem or the receiving mobile not being able to receive video messages. For more information, check with the service provider for the receiving mobile. Please note that Anthropics Technology Limited cannot be held responsible if messages are not delivered.
You can record a message up to 20 seconds.
